Yes. I have had this same thing happen. This usually occurs when editing a number of records in a row in MilCat. Exiting the system and going back in is still the only way I can solve the problem.

No. We do not do this degree of editing anyway.

We are using QVT 5, Window XP. It goes away if you get out of the
telnet program and get back in.

Jill,
I have had some problems with editing bib records in full edit mode on
2/10 and 2/11. Yesterday I was not able to delete the letters I wanted
to delete, it would delete letter about six spaces in. Getting out of
the record and calling it up again did not solve the problem, only
getting out of III all together and loging in again solved this
problem.

Today I had more trouble, I could not add a "/" at the end a line, it
would only add blanks and then after awhile it would display all the
attempted //// in the middle of last word in the line. I also noted
that
no diacritics displayed. Again, only getting out of III and loging in
again seemed to solve the problem. At least I have diacritics
displaying
again.
As always, waiting patiently for a possible explanation,
Hiddy
