We don't use Deep Freeze, but we've used CybraryN for several years in conjunction with Centurion Guard or Clean Slate. There is no need to "thaw" Deep Freeze . . . you can simply have CybraryN write to a file on a remote server. While we write all of CybraryN's files remotely, you can choose any variation that works for you. If you point all of your public machines to a single "Meter" file location, on a remote server, you shouldn't interfere with Deep Freeze's function at all, and you will have access to stats/reports on all your machines. In addition to CybraryN's "Reports" function, you can open "Meter.dba" (the primary usage file) in Excel, as a comma-delimited file.

We're considering purchasing CybraryN to gather usage stats for our 70+
public computers, which are all protected by Deep Freeze Pro. I've run a
demo and we've been fairly impressed with CybraryN - but our IT dept. is
not thrilled with the idea of thawing out DeepFreeze so that the usage
stats can write correctly. Has anyone had experience with running Deep
Freeze and CybraryN simultaneously? I know Deep Freeze allows a "thawed"
partition to be created; can CybraryN write the usage stats to that
partition? And has that had any impact on your computer security/maintenance?
