Are you coming to the IUG and want an opportunity to meet with others who may
be using the same software modules or hardware setups that you are? Want to plan
a regional meeting? Or maybe you just want to find some other folks to join for
lunch or dinner?
A trademark of the IUG annual meeting is the Birds of a
Feather sessions or "BoF" - small impromptu meetings for folks with similar
interests.
We have two rooms that are available at the following times during the
conference:
Saturday: 1:30-5:30
pm
Sunday:
9-11:30 am and 1:30-5:30 pm
Monday: 9:00 am - 5:30 pm
One room
seats 22; the other seats 38 with conference style seating.
If you are interested in facilitating a BoF with your colleagues during the conference, please send me an email at bonath@xxxxxxxxxx. Include your name and email address, the date and time you want to meet, and the topic of your session. A listing of scheduled sessions will be posted on the IUG website the second week of April so that others may contact you and sign up for your session.
We have reached a size where it is no longer feasible to try to get folks together during the all-conference lunch. We suggest that people who want to meet during the conference luncheon should plan to gather outside the banquet hall and then go in and sit together.
At the conference a listing of scheduled BoF sessions and sign-up sheets to create other impromptu sessions will be posted near the registration desk.
