- Subject: loading EBSCO e-journals
We've been having problems loading e-journals from EBSCO. They e-mail the
updated list to us each month in ZIP form. When unzipped, the file is
around 5 or 6 megs. If we open the file in Word, we can see that it covers
the whole alphabet. But when we load it into Innovative via FTS, we only
get around 1000 to 2000 records covering the alphabet from A to C. I can
try loading the same file over and over, and I get a different number of
records each time. I tried to load a file today, and the first time it was
1017 records. The second time it was 1583 records, and the third time it
was 1440 records. All from the exact same file. I wonder if something is
going wrong in the PREPROCESS stage.
Anyone else having a similar issue with loading e-journals?
