Question re: <!--{msg}--> formatting

Is it possible to control the format of the <!--{msg}--> token returned during an AVS search?

For example, if you stick that token in your code, it returns the following snippet on a "no hit":
<BR><H2>NO ENTRIES FOUND</H2><BR>

Truth is, I don't want the <H2> tags, or the <BR>s for that matter.

Suggestions?
