Title: Question: Is anyone using a windows based PDA to gather use statistics

We have used the Percon scanner for a number of years to gather use statistics.

Recently our library has been setup for wireless access to the campus network.

We don't see any reason why we could not use a Windows based PDA with a barcode scanner and a telnet client to gather use statistics directly from the client and eliminate the need to FTS the statistics from the Percon.

Is anyone currently doing this?
Any problems or words of advice in regards to this?

We'd appreciate all input.
