We have had this happen on occasion, but it usually involves someone
updating the itype, ptype or location WHILE the item is checked out. If
staff make this kind of change because an item was checked out under the
non-circ loan rule, they need to be made aware that the change will not
affect the loan rule. We ask them to check the item in and then check it
back out to the patron so that the correct loanrule is invoked.
