Items can become "In Transit" when checked in using a Login associated
with a set of Locations Served which does not include the item's
location. (Sorry I cannot explain this more clearly!). If you have a
complex Locations Served table, items could become "In Transit" even
though checked in within the same library. I don't think the problem
is necessarily connected with your scoped OPAC.
