problems with Millennium

We have Millennium installed on two computers both using Windows 2000 
Professional.  On one computer Millennium opens most of the time but on the 
other it has become most unreliable.  Last week it worked Thursday -Sunday 
and then wouldn't open on Monday and hasn't worked since.  We have done all 
the things we know to do:  talked to the helpdesk, deleted and reinstalled 
Millennium a number of times, changed http settings to use http 1.1 through 
proxy connections, copied files from the computer that Millennium works on 
to the one that it doesn't.  What kind of complicates things is that the 
Millennium server isn't at the public library but at the college.  We have 
talking to them on a regular basis and they've confirmed it isn't a firewall 
problem.
