Terri,
What you want to accomplish is handled by the Limit Network Access
tables which on the Telnet side of the operation is via the following
menu choices:
A> ADDITIONAL system functions
A> ALTER system parameters
L> LOGIN names and parameters
N> Limit NETWORK access
You will need to edit two tables - Telnet and HTTP (and Millennium if
you have any staff that need Millennium access from the new IP ranges).
Your HTTP table should already have two entries. The first is your
basic campus IP range and the second is everyone else (all). When you
add the new range(s) just make sure you match the current service level
for your initial basic campus IP range. The Telnet table probably has
several entries but you should also see your basic campus IP range and
another entry for all ports not already specified (all). Again, you
just have to add the new range(s) and match the current entry for your
basic camps IP range.
As a last step you need to restart the Web services (restart a terminal)
so the new HTTP table entries will take effect.

Subject: WAM access and IPs
This is probably a simple question, but I spent a lot of time yesterday
trying to find an answer with no luck. Our site recently added more IP
addresses. Is there a place in our Innovative system that I need to go
in and define the on-campus IP addresses and ranges for WAM? This would
connect to the service level so that those on campus aren't asked for
verification.
