Changing locations

When we set up our location codes we designated all the circulating books MAIN as in the main part of the collection. In our new, three-floored building people assume that means they are on the main floor, rather than spread on three floors. We have about 300,000 volumes.

We want to change the codes so that call numbers  A-PM show up as location  Second Floor,  PN-PZ as location First Floor, and  Q-Z  as Lower Level.  We also have collections designated oversize, audiovisual, reference, etc., that we would like to keep as is.  I have looked at page 103098 in the online manual.  I would like to speak with anyone who has gone through a change like this.  Please contact me as to when would be a good time to call to talk about this process.
