Fellow Innopac users,
One of our consortium libraries has started loan laptops to our patrons.
This program has proved very successful, almost too successful. We are
trying to come up with a way to build in a “downtime” for the laptops so
that we can re-image the hard drives and make sure all components are in
working order. I realize there is an adjustable transit time for bookable
items but this changes both the “before” and “after” times of bookable
items. I also don’t know how self-booking will be affected.
Has anyone come up with a way to build in a blackout period of, say, 24
hours, where the item would be unavailable for booking or checkout?
Thanks in advance,
Jon Mark
