We have used both OCLC, B&T's Libris and B&T's TSource2 for order record
generation at Rockford Public. While they all took a little bit of setup
time, and required changing load tables in Innovative, ultimately they
worked quite nicely and save alot of staff time.
The Innovative manual under "BIBLIOGRAPHIC UTILITY ORDERING OVERVIEW" gives
you most of the information you would need to start using OCLC. TSource2
requires working up a B&T download profile, but they have always been very
helpful and that process is pretty straightforward.
We are currently using TSource2 because the records are free, if a little
lacking in quality control. If you edit on Innovative, using OCLC might be
the easiest way to go.

Subject: Bibliographic utility
Hi!
We're just getting ready to go with acq....and we're wondering if anyone is
using a bibliographic utility application to bring records in when entering
orders, ie a librarian wants to put in an ISBN and all the info would be
filled in to the order record.
Any help, recommendations or suggestions would be most appreciated. Thank
you.
