I have
used netscape 6 and 7 to search z39 libraries from our web
z39
client without problem. What url do you use to access your
search
page.
There are some potential problems with use of urls that
begin:
http:/
for
instance. These were used for some innopac services in earlier
versions
of the webpac. They can create problems in netscape 6 that do not
show up in
ie or
4.x

This might have something to do with the
way Netscape 6.x bans certain ports for security reasons. We are unable
to use Netscape 6 to access our CJK records because they are being output on a
"non-standard" port. -- Howard
