- Subject: Re: synchronization of locations
Dear Michaela,
We link both our permanent and temporary reserve item locations to a bib
reserve location.
In our system, when an item is put on temporary reserve, the permanent item
location is temporarily suppressed. When that item is taken off of
reserve, the permanent item location reappears. There is no need to save
it elsewhere. Since we run links maintenance several times a week, the bib
locations get updated to reflect where the item is now.
Hope this helps.
Naomi
