At Perry Library Circulation, volunteers do not use III or Millenium and do
not have access to patron records on the library system. Volunteers assist
solely in stacks activities.

It seems that I misunderstood what my director really wanted when I asked
about volunteers and extended hours.
What I really need to know is whether anyone (especially public libraries)
allow volunteers to use the Innovative Millennium software on the circ
desk?
If yes, are they directly supervised (staff person on the desk or in the
same area all the time)?
Thanks again.
