POSITION: Reference/Instruction Librarian

Reference/Instruction Librarian. Missouri Southern State College seeks
an innovative and enthusiastic professional to provide
reference/instruction services in both print and electronic formats.
This is an entry-level public service position providing the opportunity

Required: ALA-accredited MLS; strong customer-service orientation;
excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills;
personal computer expertise; ability to work well independently and
collegially. 

Preferred: Experience with Innovative Interfaces Inc. (III) software;
academic and/or professional library experience; web page design. 

This is a 12-month faculty status appointment reporting directly to the
Library Director. Salary and faculty rank commensurate with
qualifications and experience. Evaluation of credentials begins October
14, 2002 and continues until the position is filled. Start date January
