I've posted the same question on Web4lib and there has been somewhat
extensive discussion there. At the moment, Netscape is providing a CJK
Unicode font at:
ftp://ftp.netscape.com/pub/communicator/extras/fonts/windows/CyberCJK.ZIP
The Bitstream CyberCJK font is not as nice looking as Arial MS Unicode, but
it does seem to work okay with Innovative CJK. However, Bitstream has
removed the font download from its own web site, so it is not clear what
the license provisions with Netscape are for the long term. The Bitstream
font will also work with Internet Explorer.
I haven't worked with Code 2000 font, but I did download the font and the
html readme indicates that it is shareware and a $5 fee is requested
through PayPal. -- Howard
