Would you all please share your experiences with the INNOPAC Telnet software
provided by Innovative?

When we implemented this system earlier this year, we received our license
allotment of INNOPAC diskettes. We used them as indicated, one diskette per
PC. However, those installations have repeatedly "expired." An annoying
message "Your demo version has expired, contact Innovative...." appears at
timed intervals while you are attempting to work in the program.

Once the "demo" expires, we have to use the same diskette, uninstall INNOPAC
and then reinstall it. It will work again for a couple months, expiring
again at some given point in time. This has become a big headache, as we
have 60 licenses.

I have attempted to rectify this situation with Innovative, but have been
waiting since April for a resolution. Needless to say, I'm more than a bit
frustrated. Innovative doesn't seem to understand that we have no other
need for Telnet than to use our "new" Innovative system. Since so much
functionality is still missing from Millennium, we have needed the Telnet
sessions more than I ever expected.

Of course, we can use Windows Telnet, but lose full screen and printing
capabilities. This is not an option for staff users who need to print, or
have less than perfect vision.

So now I wonder, has anyone else had this experience? What are you all
using to run your telnet sessions? Innovative can't seem to explain why our
installations expire, and seem surprised that we've had this trouble at all.

Thanks for your thoughts,
Tyra
