Thanks.  I did uninstall Norton, but Millennium still won't run until I also uninstall and reinstall it--after uninstalling Norton.  I just went through this process for the third time as follows:

 

Millennium not running

Uninstall Norton

Reboot

Millennium still won't run

Uninstall Millennium

Reboot

Reinstall Millennium

Millennium Runs

Reboot

Millennium Still Runs

Reinstall Norton

Reboot

Millennium will not run

Excluded .jar files from Norton

Millennium still won't run.

 

Anyone out there using Norton???  I'm going to call them, but thought perhaps someone would know how to get this to work.

Tyra,

I am running Mcafee's antivirus without any problem.  I do turn it off anytime I do any application installations.   Did you uninstall Norton, using the Windows 2000's control panel and see if you computers work as before?  You might  try contacting Norton's support, and ask them about your problem.
