(I'm replying to a very old message but hope this may still be of some
use.)

In addition to finding items on course reserve by the location code it
used to be possible to search for items with a Course ID (usually /6).
A Release 2001 "enhancement" has made it possible to search for items
on reserve for a specific course (e.g. Course ID=.r12345) but
unfortunately it is no longer possible to search by the existence or
otherwise of the Course ID field in item records.

If you have turned on the option to add Reserve Notes to items on
reserve you can still search by the existence of Reserve Notes in item
records (RESV NOTE > 0). Note that Reserve Notes remain in the item
record after it is taken off reserve. So unless you delete reserve
notes when items are removed from reserve this method may pick up items
which are no longer on reserve. You can delete unwanted Reserve Notes
in Rapid Update.
