I have a call in to III on this, but I thought I'd try the IUG list as well.
TIA to anyone who can shed some light:

HALAN's largest member library, Houston Public, is about to start using
e-mail to deliver Hold Pick Up Notices. Their circulation manager reports
the following:

>I have discovered that the "From:" line for hold pick up notices that are
>delivered via email reads "Library Overdue Notice." Can that be changed to
>read: "Library Notice." Also, can we make the subject line read: "Hold
>Pick-up Notice"?

I have searched through the User Manual, browsing sections on notice formats
and sending notices via e-mail, and using the Search function, and have not
been able to discover any may to amend the From or Subject lines of e-mailed
notices. I have also searched the IUG Archives and Known Issues ("notices"
and "email," searched separately) on CS Direct.

Can you help?

This is HALAN's notice 14 as set up in our system:

1 > Hold Pickup Notice
2 > Your hold has arrived. Please pick up at the
3 > Library's Circulation Desk.
