Joanne and others -

We don't have information yet about the IUG 2003 programs because we
don't have any!  That's where all of you come in.

Carolyn asked for suggested topics for programs people would like to
see. Those that have been posted or are sent to her privately
(crokke@xxxxxxxxxx) will be combined with those topics suggested on
the IUG 2002 evaluation forms, and grouped into categories. They will
then be posted on the IUG website to give all of you ideas about
possible programs to be presented. 

We're testing out a new online program submission form that will be
available (and announced on the list) very soon for those of you who
already have specific proposals to submit. Program proposals need to be
submitted by mid-September; the precise date will be announced and
posted when the form is up and ready to use. 

A preliminary program will be ready in late January for planning
purposes.

Now would be a great time to think about how you might contribute to the
program process for 2003!  If you have any topics to suggest, or
questions about the process, please contact Carolyn Rokke at
crokke@xxxxxxxxxx.
