Hello Everyone,
In the middle of the heat of summer (well, it's HOT here, anyway), it's time to start thinking about next Spring, IUG 11, San Jose, Saturday April 26 - Monday April 28 (preconference Friday April 25), and what programs and forums you would like to attend at the conference or at the New User's day.
If you're thinking, "oh, I could never do a program," . . . that's NOT what we're asking!!
We want your ideas. What would you like to know more about - from Innovative, from other librarians, from vendor/librarian teams? What would you like to talk about in forums, be it by library type, by library function, by Innovative Module? What would make this a good conference for you?
If you ARE interested in presenting a program or leading a forum on the topic you suggest, let me know that, too.
Please e-mail your responses to me at crokke@xxxxxxxxxx no later than Friday, August 2, 2002.
I'll send out reminders for you vacationers out there, but the sooner you can get your responses in, the better.
Later in August we will supply a list of topics and ask you to start proposing actual programs. When the online form is up and ready, we will announce it here.
