Hi folks,

I have a few more questions about storing "lost item" notes in the patron
record. Does this functionality work with both text-based and Millennium
users? For those using it in Mil Circ, can you verify for me that selecting
"collect money" triggers the notes to be written?

Thanks much!

Subject: storing "lost item" notes/messages in the patron's record

Hi folks,

Can someone please contact me off-list if you have the above option turned
on for your system? It is manual # 102432. Is one able to locally manage,
i.e. delete after a number of years, these notes? How is this different
than the fines paid tab? Specifically, I'm interested about academic
libraries in consortium (non INN-Reach) who are using this feature, but any
comments (especially the "be careful of this" variety) would be helpful.

Thanks!

Conie
