Janet:

To my knowledge, you cannot update orders or checkins in the Database Maintenance
module, only Ordering and Receiving.  The same is true for updating item records.
There is an exception with item records though, you can update an item record in
the checkin mode but cannot update the bib. record. It is sometimes a goose chase
to make updates these records.

If anyone has an alternative route, please share.
