You will need to install a firewall and just allow access to your library
server for the ports that it uses. CSdirect has info regarding access to
library servers through firewalls and the required ports you need to open on
your firewall.

We've been told by our computer services department that hacker
attempts on the university systems are becoming more advanced. Do we
need to do anything specific to protect our catalog from hackers?
Thanks for any advice!
