We select "local printer" other than that, I don't know. Good luck.

Helga, I tested. I just checked these two and all the printing would come
out LPT1, even I selected receipt printer.
Any idea?

Our printer settings are as follows:
Check - enable direct text printing
Check - printer for direct text printing is only 40 columns wide
This works well for us.

Our library is testing receipt printer at Milcirc clients, which prints out
nice receipt. Our problem is that circ staff can't make another selection
for other local printer with parallel connection without logout and login
using different ID. Since circ dept at every branch shares one login, this
configuration is not acceptable.
In manager - controlled options - printing setting, if we mark printer for
"direct text printing is attached to serial port", we will print at receipt
printer and LPT print will not work, but if we unmark this box, even we can
choose receipt printer, but nothing will come out.
Now the only way we can think of is to create separate logins for staff
using receipt printers.
Any suggestion will be appreciated
