You can do all of the above.  To add a line to the e-mail message, 
modify the EMAILHEAD and EMAILFOOT parameters in your preferred search 
alert file.  To configure the preferred search notification message to 
go somewhere other than your bounced export mailbox, set the FROM 
parameter to use another e-mail box on your system.
