call number indexing

Hi,

We are in the process of implementing Millennium.  I understand that some 
customers index call numbers only in the bib record, both bib and item 
records, or only in the item record.  In our old system, we didn't have the 
option of having call numbers in the item record.  Can anyone tell me the 
advantages and disadvantages of indexing call numbers from the item record 
only, bib record only, or both?
