Sorry for not being more specific! We have not tried using the Seiko Smart Label printer with MilCat or GUICat. By other applications, I meant applications outside of Millenium. Have you been able to have it function with GUICat or MilCat?

I'm countering your query with a request to clarify: "The printer
works fine in other applications" includes Millennium Cataloging aka
If so, you may just have given me ammunition to fire another request
for the Seiko solution to our labeling woes! I understand also that
Brodart(?) makes a similar (back-engineered!) printer. In either case,
we can't lose, can we?
I'll be following replies to your posting with great interest, since
Serials here is looking for the same solution.
