Here at Portland Public Library (Maine), we are trying to do what sounds so
straight-forward -- add one PC with export capability from OCLC to iii.
According to iii, there are two options for text-based (non-Millennium)
users like us:
1. enabling an additional port in our Lantronix box configured for OCLC
exporting ($2,500 with turnaround time of 45-90 days)
2. Networked OCLC product ($11,200 with turnaround of 45-90 days)
If a fellow IUG-er has found any alternate solution, that is cheaper and
faster than this, we would greatly appreciate the insight. Splitting the
cabling to an existing Lantronix port so it works for two machines?
Employing FTP? Other?
Thank you in advance for the help and advice.
