Vivian,
In general, sort the list by "date" prior to printing (choosing S from the
Create List main menu), then list out the fields you want printed (choosing
L from the Create List main menu). 

Since there are several dates associated with records in the pac, first
determine which field holds the date you are interested in, then sort the
set of records using that field. Should be a piece of cake from
there...UNLESS your trying to sort by imprint date. In that case, you would
have to sort by the 008 field's "Date One" (using the @ Special field:
option) or specify the tag 260|c (using the ! MARC tag: option).

Please help me with my file in the create list.  It needs to be sorted
by date. The fields that would appear on my printout are:  call number,
author, title, publisher.  However, the person  wanting this information
wants it sorted by date.  (more or less arranged the list in chrono
order).
