At SSU, we have an Automated Storage and Retrieval System as part of our new
library - it is far superior tp off-site storage and considerably cheaper to
build that another entire building. The vendor is HK Systems located in Salt
Lake City.  Take a look at our webpage - I really think it's the only way to
go.
