If you
are using multipart mailers, your only choice is the oki395. it is the best
impact printer suitable for heavy workloads. ( needs to be
cleaned more often than a laser printer )
However if this not the case, you would be better off with the laser
printers.

Hi All,
My system printer, an Okidata 395 Microline, died
with its boots on in the middle of printing overdue notices. Does anyone
have any recommendations for replacement models? CSDirect recommends the
Okidata 395, as well as 2 laser printers: HP Laserjet 4000 and the 4050.
We are still using character based cataloging and acquisitions, but
will most likely be on Millennium by the end of this year. Any thoughts?
