I would also be interested in seeing an information exchange on this
subject. 

Besides the cataloging issues that I have with Millenium, I am disgruntled
at the time and effort it took to get a receipt printer printing in MilCirc
the way it should. Screen resolution and MilCirc is another issue. We are a
small library in a mini-consortium of two. Our partner is a library 10 times
our size. They have full-time IT staff, but we do not.

Ben, we have III and are deciding whether to upgrade to Millenium or
purchase another system (we are looking at Endeavor's Voyager).  We are not
that far into the process, and would be very interested in the replies to

We have been an Innovative customer for almost 14 years and we have recently
been tasked with determining if Innopac is still the best system out there
to meet our needs.  I'm not interested in hearing from vendors at this point
and would love to hear from customers in the following categories:

- Current III customers looking at other systems
- Current III customers that have looked around and decided to stay with III
- Customers that have recently converted to III from another ILS vendor

Questions I'm looking to get answered:
1.  Why are you or why did you look around?
2.  Are you happy with Innovative the system?  The company?
3.  What system did you convert from?  Why did you leave that vendors
product?
4.  If you looked, and decided to stay with III, why?  Better system didn't
exist?  Too much trouble to move?
5.  If you found a better product, what made it better or more appealing
that Innopac?

I am also interested in hearing comments from existing customers on
Innovatives response to requests for enhancements, changes to their systems
only, and custom programming.
