RE: configuring IE for MAC to use III proxy server

Most of our resources seem to be accessible through the proxy with Netscape
6.2 for the Mac.  We're having problems with JSTOR and FirstSearch on all
browsers, so I wasn't surprised when those didn't work with 6.2, either, but
the only other database that we aren't able to get through the proxy on 6.2
is the Associated Press Photos database (http://accuweather.ap.org/).  AP,
though, has a very nice explanatory page
(http://accuweather.ap.org/getbrows.html; may only be available with
subscription) regarding the incompatibility of their site with Netscape 6.2.

Take a look at the instructions for our patrons at

There's no real problem in using Macs, as long as patrons have access to 
the proper browser. . .
