The
IUG coordinator and presenters for our “Simplifying Your Life with FTS”
program have had to withdraw their program from the Houston
conference. This is one of our popular programs, and we would very much
like to be able to present a program on this topic in Houston.We
therefore need your help.
If
you will be attending the IUG conference and would be willing to present
this, or work with someone else to present, we would love to work with
you and see this topic presented.It
is scheduled for Sunday from 1:30-2:30.
FYI,
here is the description of the program that was canceled:“In
this presentation, we will discuss some of the various uses for the FTS
module. This includes creating patron records, loading electronic invoices,
creating new bibliographic, order, and item records from PromptCat,
and maintaining the WebPAC. This program is intended for a beginner to
intermediate audience who uses FTS on a limited basis, if they use it at
all. This program will be useful to people involved in system administration,
circulation, cataloging and acquisitions."
