Re: Millennium acquisitions - non-book materials

Dear Gillian,

That's exactly how I do it... create a brief bib record for these and suppress it from view. I use ADMIN for the call no on all of those types of things. I do this for all e-resources, e-databases, library memberships, bindery charges etc.

I did a quick check on the list archive but I couldn't find any information
on handling non-book materials in the acquisitions module.
I am looking for information specifically on:
How libraries handle non-book/serial orders on milacq? (For example,
electrical work carried out in the library). Is it necessary to create a
brief bib record for these and suppress it from view? Or is there another
option?

We are in the process of implementing Millennium acquisitions and any advice
would be much appreciated.

Many Thanks
Gillian
