Export from OCLC using CatME

I'm new to the systems part of the library, and even newer to CatME.
I'm trying to give CatME a fair trial while trying to decide if we
should move to it from Passport for Windows, or to wait for the new
interface. I've been able to set up sessions in CatME and am learning
to work in it. But I haven't figured out the exporting.

Our procedure has always been to find the OCLC record for the book in
hand, catalog it, make the needed changes to the the OCLC record, and
save it. Then, later, when we're running labels, we export and update
at that time.

I've tried to follow both the CatME instructions and the III manual's
instructions for setting up exporting without success. The last time I
tried to export, I kept getting an error message (something about a
dll, I think) for several minutes ... but never got the record
exported.

I may be missing a piece of information : the TCP/IP address of the
INNOPAC machine. I know how to find the IP address of a terminal. Is
there an address for "the machine", different from a terminal?

Thanks for your patience with a rookie, and for any help you may be
able to give me on how to get the Export to work from CatME.
