RE: CatME host message

Katharine,
I know this may sound bizarre, but if the timeout on our Gateway export
wasn't set to a number greater than 0 the bib record number would not
display. Open OCLC CATME - you do not need to login - go to Tools > Options
>select the Export tab >highlight the GATEWAY Export >click to edit and
change the timeout to at least 20, retries 0 and delay 10 . Anyway this
worked for us and we do use the IP address of our INNOPAC too.
Hope this helps,
Patrice

Subject: CatME host message
I was wondering if anyone could give us some insight to a small problem
we've been having. I searched the list archives and have found that others
have run into the same problem, but I haven't been able to find any
solutions in the archives.
Two of us are not getting the full host message when we export our records.
We use to get the full message that would tell us the b number and which
record was being overlayed by the exported record. Now we are simply
getting the two-line message that tells us that a record is being created.
(Sorry, I didn't write down the exact message. I could easily find it out
and send it if this is necessary.)
I have had this problem both while I've been on Windows 95 and on Windows
2000. The two of us are unique from the four other catalogers in that our
computers don't have Passport loaded.
Any advice would be helpful! Thank you!
Katharine
