- Subject: Blackboard Optim & Library interface
We are examining Blackboard's Optim system and it's library interface
modular application. I've been asked to find out -
"Does it work "as advertised"--meaning, is the following
statement true: "to enter updated or new info into III, the library
staff swipes the Blackboard ID card in the special authorization swipe,
and it creates and populates a III patron record in the circ module.""
Does anyone have any experience with this in the real world?
