- Subject: Citizen CBM-1000 receipt printer
We are in the process of ordering a Citizen Thermal Printer, CBM-1000, for
use as a receipt printer for our circulation desk and we're wondering if
anyone else out there is using the same printer for this purpose. If so,
could you offer us any advice on the Innopac set-up required? In
particular, we would like to know if anyone has successfully networked a
receipt printer (can they be networked?), or does it have to be attached to
just one PC? What set-up did you have to do on Innopac to get it running?
How successful or otherwise has it been?
We are currently using character-based circ but advice on both
character-based and Millenium would be useful as we move ever closer to
implementing MillCirc!
Thanks and best wishes,
Fran
