The  New  York Public Library has an exciting opportunity for a Circulation
Coordinator in our Research Libraries/Technical Services Division.

As  a  Circulation Coordinator, you will coordinate the Research Libraries'
efforts  to  implement  an  automated  circulation  system.   This includes
formulating  policies  and  procedures,  identifying  circulation  staffing
models  and technical needs, managing a budget, and working with all levels
of staff throughout the Research Library system.

To  qualify,  you  must  have  a Master's degree in Library and Information
Studies   and  several  years  of  professional  librarianship  experience,
including  using  integrated  library  systems.  Other requirements include
strong   supervisory,  interpersonal  and  negotiating  skills;  proficient
computer  skills;  and effective project management skills.  For a full job
