We have 12 different locations and I just go into Serials Check-in and type 
in the title of periodical.  When I get to the correct periodical I make 
sure that C Checkin is in the view window and then hit new and have had no 
problem at all.  It brings up a small box that prompts for information such 
as Library Has, Title Number, Check-notes, Public notes, Location 
etc.  Each of our locations have their own seperate location code.  I 
usually do this before I check in any other location.
