Subject: Featured lists and suppressed bib records

We suppress our bib records for Electronic Course Reserves using
BCODE3=n.

I just noticed in our Featured List of new books that ECR articles are
displaying in the list even though the records are suppressed.

Can anyone explain this?  Does our search strategy for creating new book
lists have to exclude BCODE3=n?  Shouldn't they just not show up?
