I've loaded several dozen of these into our catalog. I start by searching
the CORC catalog to find records in a key area, then write the OCLC number.
Then I go into Passport, search by OCLC number, and export them the way we
would any other MARC record. They need a bit more editing than the average
record - often they show up with material type "A," and an LC call number is
replaced with the general call number "WEB RESOURCE." A recent example can
be seen at

eset&F=Ufrankenstein&4,4,

Hope that helps.

Subject: Exporting CORC records

Hello,

I am looking for more information about exporting CORC records into
III. I have seen severals posts regarding this topic in the IUG
archives that have been very helpful. I am interested in finding out if
someone might be able to walk me through the process with a little more
detail.

We have tried saving the MARC record from CORC to a local file and then
FTP-ing the file into our local catalog, but I fear that we are missing
out on some important step. We are not using Millenium. I have looked
at the INNOPAC User Manual and am wondering if our problems have
anything to do with needing to set up a new load profile.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
