Millennium - item record no show

Hello all:

I am new to Millennium Acq. and am trying to build order and item
records for new serial orders.  I have built one successfully.  On the
second attempt, I built everything the same (I believe) but the item
does not show up in the OPAC or when I go back to the character base it
is not there either.  I can call it up in the character base by item no.
but when I hit "s" for summary it only shows the other attached records,
order and checkin.
