Marc,
As someone not fully up to speed on the ezproxy/patron API option, I
wondered if you would be willing to share what factors caused you to switch
to it from WAM.
Even if it's a few points on the pros/cons of either option, I bet a lot of
us would be interested.
Thanks,
John

Subject: Proxy Server Knowledge Base
Our library has been hosting the Innovative Proxy Server Knowledge Base at
http://apocalypse.unomaha.edu/proxykb/ However, we have now stopped using
the Innovative proxy in favor of the ezproxy/patron API combination.
While I have no problem with continuing to host the Knowledge Base and am
quite willing to do so, I wondered if some other library with a greater
immediate interest in the subject would like to take it over. It could
use some TLC, since it only has about seven entries and no one actively
maintaining/promoting it.
The application runs on PHP3 and mySQL and we can provide source, data,
etc. You could even re-write it for another db platform!
If anyone is interested, please contact me off-list.
In the meantime, the Knowledge Base will continue at the present address.
