Howdy folks:
Once connecting to the main menu in the telnet version users *must*
provide initials and passwords to do *anything* at all. All functions
without exception are closed to them unless they have a valid set of
initials / passwords.
It seems that under Millennium Circulation, once someone connects, they
can do some stuff (such as search for a patron and see the brief patron
record display) without getting prompted for initials or password.
Does anyone know if there is a way to set up a Mill Circ login so that
it is more like the text based system with respect to authorizations? It
really bothers me that folks can search for patrons and see a brief
patron record without being required to provide initials and passwords
like the text based system used to.
I'm hoping that I overlooked something and someone on this list will
point out what I'm missing here.
Thanks,
